RACE 1 – SUPER AXIOM

SUPER AXIOM, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse was a “roarer” which had previously been reported. SUPER AXIOM was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer Y S Tsui this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right hind leg. Before being allowed to race again, SUPER AXIOM will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 3 – CHILLI BABA

After the race, CHILLI BABA was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. CHILLI BABA was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer P F Yiu this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, CHILLI BABA will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 9 – STARMEN

STARMEN, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. STARMEN was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer J Richards this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, STARMEN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
