G1 – 1200m – Turf
| Elite Status | Underpinned his stable’s good form with impressive win in a hot Listed race on his reappearance at Newbury. This highly regarded sort has leading claims. |
| Evade | Just got home following an almighty battle in Epsom Listed contest over 1403m, but a lot more is required here. |
| Givemethebeatboys | Admirably consistent, he continues to hold his own against the best, but appeals as more of a place prospect on the balance of form. |
| Inisherin | Followed up his fine effort (sixth) in the G1 2,000 Guineas with impressive G2 win at Haydock. Supplemented for this and clearly primed for a big run. |
| Jasour | Looked far more relaxed when coming off the pace to record an impressive win in G3 prep over course and distance in May. Very much a contender. |
| Kind Of Blue | Bred for the job, he’s taking a big rise in class after winning both his two career starts to date. Clearly very well regarded, he may well tempt each way backers. |
| Lake Forest | Upset the form book with 16-1 win in G2 at York in last August, but he faces no easy task on his reappearance. |
| Louis Barthas | The only maiden in the race, his limitations were exposed at Newbury in May. Big outsider. |
| Malc | Likeable sort who invariably puts his best foot forward. However, others may have more scope for improvement. |
| Military | Clearly, well down the pecking order in top Irish yard, and hard to fancy despite two solid runs over around 1200m recently. |
| Orne | Blinkers brought about an improvement when second in G2 at Haydock. Supplemented for this and clearly expected to go well. |
| Pocklington | Not disgraced when surrendering his 100 per cent record in very decent Listed contest at Newbury (fifth) but is pitching at the deep end. |
| Starlust | He went into a few notebooks after beating older horses in good style (handicap) at York in May. Has more to do here but is an interesting outsider. |
| Classic Flower | The French visitor boasts a string of good efforts in Listed/G3 class this year, but probably needs to take another major step forward. |
| Pandora’s Gift | Continues on a roll after four consecutive successes on the all-weather. The sky is the limit at present but an unknown quantity on turf. |
