| 1 | I Wish I Win | Brilliant sprinter who has had minor places in his past four runs. Went down to Bella Nipotina by 0.05L in the G1 Doomben 10,000 when made a run in the inside and then came out to make his run. Hard to beat from inside barrier. |
| 2 | Think About It | Has had two trials to get ready for this after well beaten over 1600m at last start on a heavy track. Finished second three starts ago at 1300m in G1 Canterbury Stakes. Won this race last year and more than capable of a repeat. |
| 3 | Tuvalu | Ended a run of outs when led throughout to win the Listed Wangoom Handicap (1200m) at Warrnambool. Is never far away and is a G1 winner at 1600m. Could surprise against tougher opposition |
| 4 | Uncommon James | Raced wide for the majority of his last start in the G2 Victory Stakes (1200m) when beaten 14.38L. Was good before that in G1 The Galaxy (1100m) when a close-up fifth. Is capable enough but hasn’t won for more than a year. |
| 5 | Antino | Had two trials before winning first-up in the G2 Victory Stakes (1200m) on 4 May when he stormed home. Is an excellent fresh horse and is unbeaten in all three second-up runs. Loves the track. |

Freshened since leading and fading over 1500m in the G1 George Ryder Stakes in March. Has had one 1050m trial since. Not up to the class of the opposition. |
| 7 | Osipenko | Has won once at 1300m when he last raced at that distance as a 2YO. Hasn’t raced since last December and has two trials for this. Best form is at the longer trips. Difficult to mount a case. |
| 8 | Freedom Rally | Has won five of six on his home track. Was okay in G3 BRC Sprint (1350m) at his last start when came from well back to finish a narrow second. Needs to reach another level to snatch this. |
| 9 | Bella Nipotina | Great mare who has drawn barrier two. Failed to take advantage of her good draw in the G1 Doomben 10,000 but still found a way to win. Appreciates soft going and there is no reason why she can’t win again. |
| 10 | In Secret | Sprinting specialist filly who hasn’t raced since finishing third in the G1 Darley Champions Sprint (1200m) at Flemington last November. Has trialed twice for this. Has two wins and two seconds from her four first-up runs. Has two G1 wins at 1200m. Respect. |
| 11 | Magic Time | Versatile galloper who can handle all types of conditions. Won the G1 All Aged Stakes (1400m) at last start in April at Randwick. Is a progressive filly who has two G1 wins at 1400m. Finished third in a 1000m trial on 21 May. Promising. |
| 12 | Espiona | Ran on strongly in the Doomben 10,000 when finished third, beaten 1.04L. Is consistent and has the profile to again run a big race. Before that had little luck in the G1 T J Smith Stakes (1200m). Has to be respected in this tough field. |
