HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will broadcast a total of 12 overseas races in Hong Kong on Saturday, 1 June, including four races of Queensland Derby Day from Eagle Farm Racecourse in Australia and eight races of Derby Stakes Day from Epsom Racecourse in Great Britain. Bets will be accepted* for these races and Double will be offered.
For the races of Queensland Derby Day, World Pool will be offered (Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place and Tierce) to ensure maximum liquidity for racegoers. World Pool will also be offered (Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place, Forecast, Tierce and Treble) for Derby Stakes Day on the same evening. Under World Pool branding as one of the betting partners of Derby Stakes Day, the HKJC has naming rights for one race of the meeting, namely Hong Kong Jockey Club Lester Piggott Handicap (S2-1).
The Hong Kong Jockey Club is simulcasting three meetings of the British Classic Racing, including 2000 Guineas Day on 4 May, 1000 Guineas on 5 May and Derby Stakes Day on 1 Jun. Broadcast arrangements
Simulcast races will be broadcast on TV and radio. Customers can also review the overseas races at www.racing.hkjc.com one hour after each race has finished. A Mark Six draw will be also held on the same night. To facilitate the public in watching both the draw and simulcast races, TVB Plus (Channel 82) will broadcast the draw and simulcast races in a picture-in-picture format that evening. “S1” or “S2” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Digital Channels** on overseas races should mark the “S1 box” or “S2 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Digital Channels** interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number, respectively.
If “S1” or “S2” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available at all OCBBs# and via Digital Channels**.
Ticket sales arrangement for the overseas races
Tickets for Queensland Derby Day and Derby Stakes Day will be available for sale from 12:00 noon on Friday, 31 May. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)
