Dawn Charger

Had a rewarding spell when campaigned in France later in 2023, including a front-running G3 victory over this trip at Chantilly.  Looks to prefer a good or softer surface.

Elite Status

An exciting prospect based on his first four 2023 starts, doing especially well when winning a soft ground 1200m G3 at Deauville. Not so good when then twice tried in G1 company.

Inishfallen

Only a modest win so far but close to landing a surprise victory when only caught late on in a 1400m Sandown G3. Struggled on his 2024 return. Best on fast ground.

James’s Delight

All three victories over this trip, his most significant win coming when a rising handicap mark did not prevent an impressive Newmarket win this month. A good show looks likely.

Louis Barthas

Bred for this sort of trip, he shaped encouragingly on his only previous start when third of 12 in a Kempton novices’ event last November. But needs to have improved plenty.

Malc

Well regarded, having won a minor event on his career debut before elevated to G2 company for his next three 2023 starts, doing best when second of 14 at Royal Ascot G2.

Mister Sketch

A big colt, doing best so far was when making the winner work hard and holding on for second in a G2 over this course and distance. Quite encouraging on his 2024 return.

Pocklington

From a small stable winning both starts so far – each over this trip in novice company on Newcastle’s all-weather surface. The form of that second win has been let down since.

Room Service

Won a very valuable ‘Sales’ race at Doncaster last September, looking to thrive on the slow ground there. Could not land a serious threat in a G3 here on his 2024 return.

Adaay In Devon

In good shape this season all four starts being positive, winning two races at Bath and a good second – despite racing too keenly – in an Ascot G3. Slow ground suits best.

Queen Of Mougins

A late surge saw her make a winning debut over this course and distance last August. Should be sharper for her Listed race sixth at Chelmsford this month.

Relief Rally

Last season she revealed some brilliant winning acceleration from off the speed including here and in a G2 at York. Didn’t look to stay 1400m on her return. Good chance back at this speed trip.

Speedily bred and a winner over this trip on her debut last year. Then third in a G3 at Ascot and third in a G2 at York. Struggled in G1 company on her last 2023 start.
