To assist trainers in the preparation for the Griffin race on Sunday 26 May 2024, two turf trials (800M and 1000M) will be scheduled on Thursday 16 May 2024. Priorities will be given to unraced griffins intended to be entered for the above Griffin race, horses entered for the Standard Chartered Champions & Chater Cup and horses from single-site stables. In addition, horses entered for International Group 1 races will also be eligible for the trial to assist their preparation.
