1400m - Turf

Benny Ben

Late maturing maiden. Has shown glimpses of ability but others have stronger claims.

City of Hope

Unable to justify favouritism (seventh) on last start but ran on well following a wide trip and deserving of a reprieve.

El Bnoud

Snapped long losing streak in a minor provincial race last time out but much more required here.

Go Love

Put his best foot forward (third) on second last start on the Deauville all-weather, but otherwise modest form this season.

Happy Hunter

This supplementary entry isn’t the most consistent but capable on his day and ran a big race (second) two starts back.

Hortensia Basc

Still a maiden after ten attempts although did run one of her better races (fourth) last time.

Irishkamaya

Has been competitive in lower grade handicaps but has more on her plate here.

Khabesa

Won claimer at Vichy last July but difficult to fancy on current form.

Mon Sioux

It has been mainly downhill since scoring over 1600m on the Chantilly all-weather in January and may need more respite from the grader.

My Flinders

Didn’t pick up a very soft track last time, but otherwise in excellent form this term (three wins) and could still be ahead of the handicapper.

Noble Amber

Did well to come from last to first at Marseille-Borely last time. Is holding her form well and has each way claims.

Pink Valentine

Is enjoying a fruitful if busy campaign (two wins and two places) and step up in trip should suit after running-on sixth at Chantilly.

Planthalya

Versatile trip wise, clearly holding form well (three wins in 2024) and closed well to be third over course and distance last time.

Red Nude Rouge

Acts well round here (two wins) and got the job done last time but could be in the grip of the handicapper.

Sadalbari

Has been been supplemented in the wake of three placed efforts in Germany and the Czech Republic. However, will need to improve (0 from 6) on French record.

Sirius Slew

Mainly modest from since Belgian success in October but has been given some respite by the handicapper.

Stormy Air

A past course and distance winner, the veteran should run his usual honest race now that he reverts to a more suitable trip.
