HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast 1000 Guineas from Newmarket Racecourse in Great Britain on Sunday, 5 May. Bets will be accepted* for this overseas race.
World Pool will be offered (Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place, Forecast and Tierce) to ensure maximum liquidity for racing fans.
The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast the British Classic Racing, including 2000 Guineas Day on 4 May, 1000 Guineas on 5 May and Derby Stakes Day on 1 Jun. For more details, please visit HKJC British Classic Racing website:

Race times and betting pools
The simulcast race of 1000 Guineas is scheduled as S2-1 and due to start at 10:40 pm on 5 May. Eleven local races will be held at Sha Tin Racecourse on the same afternoon. The local races have been scheduled as Races 1 to 11. Details of the post time and betting pools are as follows:

Simulcast races will be broadcast on TV and radio. Customers can also review the overseas races at www.racing.hkjc.com one hour after each race has finished.

“S2” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Digital Channels** on overseas races should mark the “S2 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Digital Channels** interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number, respectively.
If “S2” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available at all OCBBs# and via Digital Channels**.
Ticket sales arrangement for the overseas races
Tickets for 1000 Guineas will be available for sale from 12:00 noon on Saturday, 4 May. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)
