Finished in the top three in the first eight starts. Finished below par at a G3 (1200m) in July 2023, but bounced back his form with second in the G1 Sprinters Stakes (1200m). Was not competitive in the G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Sprint (1200m) last time.

The multiple G1-placed sprinter has missed on the board only once from 16 career starts. No ground concerns. Can unleash a big finish from the back.

Mozu Meimei

Showed early promise when three wins and one third over 1400m and 1600m in first four starts. Won the G3 Aoi Stakes (1200m) last term but had two-digit finishes in all last five starts. Tested only on firm going in turf races.

Proven runner over this distance with four wins, two thirds in nine starts. Made impact in the last two starts by successive G3 wins over 1200m. Capable of racing better than midfield.

Finished in the first four in all seven starts since switching to turf. The consistent performer ran second in the G3 Keihan Hai (1200m) and started off the season when winning the first group race in the G3 Silk Road Stakes (1200m) latest.

All five wins over 1200m. Two-digit finishes in the last two starts. Can lead or track the speed.

So Dazzling

The consistent filly finished on the board in six out of eight career starts. Held off the favorite Namura Clair by a neck at a G3 over 1400m in February last time.

Champagne Color

Landed his first G1 triumph in the NHK Mile Cup but well beaten in the following G1 Yasuda Kinen (1600m) last term. Returned from a break of around eight and a half months and switched to dirt for a 16th-place finish in the G1 February Stakes (1600m) last time.

Victor The Winner

Emerging talent who won five races last season, all over 1200m, and rounded off the term with a fine second at a G3 (1200m). Made all first-up in a Class 1(1200m) under a light weight. Finished fourth in the G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Sprint (1200m) three starts back. He prevailed by around 1.8L with a convincing victory in the G1 Centenary Sprint Cup (1200m) at last start.

Meikei Yell

The G2 Centaur Stakes winner (1200m) in 2022. Switched to dirt for a disappointing last in the G1 Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (1400m) in November 2023. Finished tenth in the G3 Kyoto Himba Stakes (1400m) in February.

Lotus Land

G3 winner and also second in this race in 2022. Struggled to win since February 2022 but has not been beaten far, including 2L sixth in the G3 Kyoto Himba Stakes (1400m) latest. Versatile and no ground issue.

Win Carnelian

The 7-year-old horse with eight wins over 1600m and 1800m in 25 starts. Failed to defend the title in the G3 Tokyo Shimbun Hai (1600m) when finishing second last time. First time track and distance.

Mama Cocha

A full-sister to Sodashi, a former champion white mare, is a six-time winner in 14 starts from 1200m to 1600m, including the G1 Sprinters Stakes 2023. Finished 1.5L fifth in the G2 Hanshin Cup (1400m) in December last time. Ridden forward.

Divina

Suited back to 1600m after running over 2200m but finished a disappointing eleventh in the G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Mile in December. After successive G3 seconds over 1600m in July and August 2023, she won the G2 Fuchu Himba Stakes (1800m) in October. First run over this distance.

Win Marvel

Showed lots of progress from the previous three starts when winning the G2 Hanshin Cup (1400m) in December. Overcame the rain-affected track and won the G3 Hankyu Hai (1400m) in February latest. A winner over this distance and the course at a G3 in 2022.

Matenro Orion

Winless since the G3 Shinzan Kinen (1600m) in January 2022. First appearance over this distance in the G3 Ocean Stakes last time and showed the third fastest closing time for the last 600m in the field.

Schwarz Kaiser

Finished 1.3L fourth at a G3 (1200m) in August 2023. Took his third win over this distance last January, but finished thirteenth in the G3 Ocean Stakes (1200m) last time.
