RACE 6 – WONDERFUL UNICORN

After the race, WONDERFUL UNICORN was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in its trachea. WONDERFUL UNICORN was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer W Y So this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. As previously advised, WONDERFUL UNICORN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

RACE 10 – SUPER WINNER

SUPER WINNER, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. SUPER WINNER was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C H Yip this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front and right hind legs. Before being allowed to race again, SUPER WINNER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
