The Mark Six Chinese New Year Snowball draw* will be held next Wednesday (14 February). As the draw will carry a snowball of $85 million, it is estimated that the First Division Prize Fund for a single $10 winning unit could reach $118 million.
The draw will be held at 9:30pm next Wednesday and will be broadcast live on the TVB Finance, Sports and Information Channel (Channel 85). Tickets will stop selling at 9:15pm on the same evening.
“Lucky numbers” from past Chinese New Year Snowball draws
The Chinese New Year Snowball draw has been held 36 times since it was launched in 1986. Over the years, number “29” has been drawn ten times. Meanwhile, numbers “3” and “11” have been drawn nine times each. The numbers “5”, “19”, “37” and “43” have all been drawn eight times each. These numbers could be considered as “Lucky Numbers”.

Customers with eight favourite numbers can opt to buy an eight-number multiple entry ticket, which is split into 28 single entries. A partial unit of the multiple entry ticket can be bought for $140, with $5 an entry. A multiple entry ticket holder with six drawn numbers among one of the entries will be entitled to one 1st prize, twelve 3rd prizes and fifteen 5th prizes. (Winners holding a partial unit will receive prize money commensurate with their investment.)

Mark Six tickets for the Chinese New Year Snowball draw will be available at Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs)#, Telebet (including 1886 Telebet Automated Services) and Digital Channels**after the draw tonight, 8 February.
To allow for more purchase time, the draw scheduled for this Saturday, 10 February will not be held.
