The Committee, at the most recent Licensing Committee Meeting, resolved to:-

1. approve the granting of a Trainer’s Licence to Mr. David Eustace for the 2024/25 racing season.  Attached is Mr Eustace’s profile.
2. endorse the proposed update of Trainer’s retirement age from 65 to 66 with immediate effect;
3. revise the criteria for Trainer’s to be eligible to train until they are 70. (copy of revised criteria attached)
4. approve the extension of the Trainer’s licence for Mr. Manfred K L Man, who satisfied the new criteria, beyond the conclusion of the 2023/24 racing season, and Mr. Man be informed in writing that he will be eligible for an extension of his Trainer’s licence for the 2024/25 racing season, and remains eligible to be considered for a Trainer’s licence until the 2028/29 racing season, inclusive, provided he will become a dual-site Trainer by the commencement of the 2024/25 racing season.
