The Club’s Chief Medical Officer has advised that Hugh Bowman, who was dislodged from TUCHEL during the running of Race 7 at Sha Tin on Saturday, 11 November 2023, has been assessed today and been passed fit to resume riding in trackwork on 19 December 2023 and in barrier trials on 22 December 2023 with a view to being declared for race riding engagements at the Sha Tin racemeeting on Tuesday, 26 December 2023.     

Apprentice Jockey Y L Chung, who sustained an injury to his left ankle prior to the running of Race 7 at the Sha Tin racemeeting on Sunday, 17 December 2023 and was subsequently stood down from his remaining riding engagements, has been examined by the Club’s Chief Medical Officer and passed fit to fulfil his race riding engagements at the Happy Valley racemeeting on Wednesday, 20 December 2023.
