RACE 1 – CALL ME MIGHTY
CALL ME MIGHTY, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in its trachea. CALL ME MIGHTY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C W Chang this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. As previously advised, CALL ME MIGHTY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
RACE 1 – VAMOS
VAMOS, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. VAMOS was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D J Hall this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. As previously advised, VAMOS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
RACE 2 – CHARMANDER
CHARMANDER, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. CHARMANDER was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer J Richards this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, CHARMANDER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
RACE 3 – INVINCIBLE MISSILE
INVINCIBLE MISSILE, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. INVINCIBLE MISSILE was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C Fownes this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, INVINCIBLE MISSILE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
