RACE 2 – HARMONY N BLESSED
HARMONY N BLESSED, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in its trachea. HARMONY N BLESSED was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D A Hayes this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. As previously advised, HARMONY N BLESSED will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
RACE 5 – SPICY SO SMART
SPICY SO SMART, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. SPICY SO SMART was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer P C Ng this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. As previously advised, SPICY SO SMART will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
