Finished in top two in all four starts. Placed 2nd in a G2 in September and has been targeting this race since.  Closed impressively.

Rouge Eveil

Had two-digit finishes in the first two starts this term but showed steady progress in the following two starts at G3 and G2 respectively. Likes the right-handed track and firm going.

Harper

Had only six starts so far, but never missed on the board. 2nd and 3rd to Liberty Island in the G1 Japanese Oaks (2400m) and the G1 Shuka Sho (2000m) respectively.

Roselite

A 4-time winner but needs more at grade race level with two-digit finishes in two G3s in July. Coming off a 3rd place over this distance at Niigata last time.

Izu Jo No Kiseki

Has not tasted any success since October 2022.  Her best placing in five runs this term was 5th in a G3 in July. Hold-up runner.

Divina

Recorded a long-awaited group race win in the G2 Fuchu Himba Stakes (1800m) last time. First run over this course and distance will be her concern.

Geraldina

Tasted her first G1 success in this race last year, but struggled to win since. Races from deep.

Shinryokuka

2nd to Liberty Island in the G1 Hanshin Juvenile Fillies (1600m) in December 2022. Much more needed at this level.

Art House

The two-time group race winner will return to the track since 4th in the G3 Nakayama Himba Stakes (1800m) in March.  Races handy. No track worries.

Kukuna

Finished on the board in all 5 starts last term. The King Kamehameha-sired mare won the 3-win class in February and finished 2nd in the G3 Tanabata Sho (2000m) in July.  Tested on firm and good only.

Lilac

2nd in this race last year was her career best effort.  Winless since January 2022. Showed a lot of progress from disappointing 17th in the G1 Takarazuka Kinen (2200m) when 3rd in the G2 Fuchu Himba Stakes (1800m) last time.

Gold Eclipse

The 4-year-old Duramente filly made her debut win in February last year. Finished 4th and 3rd respectively in two G3s this summer and won the 3-win class at this course last time.

Saliera

As a half-sister to Salios, 3rd in the 2021 G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Mile, this 3-time winner finished a 3rd in the 2500m G2 Meguro Kinen in May, but finished out of frame in a G3 last time.

Maria Elena

Won 5 times from 22 career starts. Has struggled to win since last August.  Races handy or settles better than midfield.

Big Ribbon

With improving profile, the winner of Mermaid Stakes (2000m G3) in June has shown little at G2 last time. Likes firm.
