Was big odds at his last outing at Hamilton and performed accordingly, beaten 6.1L at 1100m. Won a 1000m race here last year, but can’t endorse.

Goes into this fresh after winning over 1100m at Rosehill a month ago. Class suits and he’ll be coming home strongly.

Jewel Bay

Jumps up in class after an easy win in a restricted 1200m race at Cranbourne. Fought back to win by 1.25L.  Has plenty of talent.

Wiggum

On-pacer who will give them plenty to chase. Is placed in all four starts, and was second beaten 0.1L over 1100m at Morphettville at latest. Leading contender.

Perilous Fighter

Has been good in weaker races and drops back from a Listed 1200m race where he was 3.05L fourth. The 1000m suits.

Holy Racket

Stepped-up to city class at Moonee Valley last time over 1000m and was 2.2L off the winner. This suits better.

Revalene

Still a maiden but has raced twice at 1000m for two seconds. Came from the back at Moonee Valley to just miss by 1.25L. A leading contender.

Capitalisation

Well supported when won 1100m Moe maiden by 2L. Hasn’t been out of the money in his three starts but this is a lot tougher.

West Of Dalby

Was at massive odds when last of 10, beaten 12.25L at Moonee Valley in 1200m Listed William Crockett Stakes. Overall form is poor and would need rapid improvement.
