RACE 2 – LUCKY RUBY
LUCKY RUBY, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. LUCKY RUBY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer K L Man this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in both front legs. Before being allowed to race again, LUCKY RUBY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
RACE 7 – BERLIN TANGO
The Veterinary Officer reported that BERLIN TANGO was lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, BERLIN TANGO will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
RACE 7 – HANDSOME TWELVE
HANDSOME TWELVE, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse was lame in its left front leg. HANDSOME TWELVE was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer T P Yung this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be swollen in the left front fetlock region. As previously advised, HANDSOME TWELVE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
