G1 – 1600m – Turf

Homeless Songs |
A brilliant winner of a G1 Classic over this trip at The Curragh last year, and though she then disappointed in 2022, she showed signs of returning to her best here in April, her only 2023 start. |

Jumbly |
Charged from the back to narrowly win a fast-ground Ascot G3 last year. Three good efforts in G2s this year, latterly when she finished well but not quite fast enough at Saratoga. |
3 |
Just Beautiful |
Has had a break since delivering a clear career best when leading almost throughout to easily win a 1600m G2 at The Curragh in May. Looks best on good ground or faster. |
4 |
Prosperous Voyage |
The record says that she is best at around this trip and on a fast surface, landing a surprise win under those circumstances at Newmarket last year and with a brave performances in an Epsom G3 in June. |
5 |
Rogue Millennium |
Like many of her sire’s progeny she has improved from three to four, the highlight being her G2 Royal Ascot victory over the straight 1600m. Not so effective in a Deauville G1 subsequently. |
6 |
Cadeau Belle |
Won her first two starts, latterly with a decisive victory in a Listed event at Navan in June. Started favourite when taken to Ascot for a G3 in July but, racing too freely, never threatened to win. |
7 |
Clever And Cool |
Makes a quick reappearance after landing a 1500m G3 at Tipperary last weekend. She pulled too hard early on then and had to challenge wide so she deserves a lot of credit for winning that. |
8 |
Gozen |
This big filly justified strong betting support to win a 1400m Punchestown maiden about a year ago. Much too keen on her only start this year, and, though an outsider here, is a likely improver. |
9 |
Meditate |
A five-times winner but has three times finished behind Tahiyra in G1 contests. Ran poorly on her latest start though she was badly bumped leaving the gates, plus didn’t handle the soft ground. |
10 |
Ocean Jewel |
Always prominent when winning a G3 here in June. Faded late on when returning 73 days late for a Naas G3 sprint last time. Up to 1600m for the first time. |

Olivia Maralda |
Not yet proven at this trip but quick ground would certainly help her. Those were the conditions when she ran a personal best to make fast progress at Epsom and win a Listed contest. |
12 |
Tahiyra |
Will surely start favourite, having already won three G1s in her five-race career. Most recently she again outclassed her rivals in a G1 at Royal Ascot. This trip is ideal and she handles any ground. |

Zarinsk |
Plenty of improvement this season, winning a G3 and a G2 on her latest starts, latterly after being given a typically positive ride, at this track. Yet to race on fast ground but proven on anything else. |
