G1 – 2000m – Turf
Above The Curve |
This smart Irish filly boasts an excellent French record (two group wins in three starts). Very tonic second at Goodwood G1 last time, and clearly primed for a big run. |
Darkaniya |
Regally bred, this late bloomer is improving at a rate of knots, and she beat a future G1 winner in steadily run Listed race. Each way possibilities. |
Mqse De Sevigne |
Shed her bridesmaid tag with surprise G1 win here last month. Dropping her back to 1600m clearly did the trick, but her 0 from 6 record in races at, or around this trip, is a slight concern. |
One For Bobby |
Has hit a purple patch for new yard, she backed up her third in a hot G3 at Newcastle with a G3 win at Vichy. Probably needs to step up further but could run into a place. |
Plesant Jane |
At the top of her game following Listed win and two positive displays in G3 grade, but further improvement needed. |
Stay Alert |
This improving British filly posted a career best when second at 25-1 in Irish G1. Didn’t get the clearest of runs, and there could be more to come. |
Trevaunance |
Yet to hit top form this season. However, the Irish visitor was a dual group winner here last season, and could surprise if back in the groove. |
Valpolicella |
Useful German filly. In good form judged on two domestic wins (including a Listed success) and G3 second in Italy, but likely longshot. |
Via Sistina |
The mud loving British mare has made huge strides forward this term, and impressed in Newmarket G2 and Irish G1 wins. Not at her best over a mile last time, but clearly a player over a more suitable trip. |
