| Azka | Had been running really well without quite winning, until landing a 2000m handicap at Deauville last month, proving tough in a tight finish. |
| Bo Lywood | On top form when winning his last two starts, latterly showing courage to beat ten rivals in a 2100m handicap on the Chantilly polytrack last month. |
| Cameron | An 1800m turf Compiegne winner in May. Performed at least as well when third over 2000m at Longchamp last month. Back on an all-weather surface now. |
| Durango | A winner at Lyon La Soie on his third career start. Not seen since early June when third of 15 in an 1800m Longchamp handicap. |
| El Chaco | Only one win so far – an 1800m handicap – but has been running consistently well and though not justifying favouritism was only a length behind the winner at Chantilly on his last start, in March. |
| Grecian Bonanza | Highly consistent, finishing in the first four on all his eight starts. A close third when favourite for a 2000m turf handicap at Deauville last month. |
| I’m A Believer | Won a 1600m claimer on Chantilly’s polytrack surface in March and the following month landed a 1600m handicap on very soft turf ground at Saint-Cloud. A close fourth at Deauville last month. |
| Magellan | Has won two of his ten starts, handicaps at Le Mans and Lyon Parilly. But a modest performance at Dieppe, his first start for this stable. Capable of better than that. |
| Manada | Drops back substantially in trip compared to previous starts that includes a 2600m victory back in April. Probably short of pace for this test. |
| Melbora | Gradually moving up in trip, though didn’t run well over 1800m last time. Had easily won a 1500m turf handicap at Saint-Cloud in May. |
| Oak Hill | Gained his first victory on his penultimate start, at Argentan. But well beaten on the turf at Deauville last time. |
| See The Light | Only one win so far but has had some near misses. But no further progress so far in the two starts since being gelded. |
| Snowfinch | Started slowly but responded well to pressure to win a 1600m maiden at Vichy on her second career start. Less good in two subsequent runs and now switches to a polytrack surface. |
| Valentino Face | Narrowly won a 1500m maiden on the Deauville polytrack in February. An outsider for his last three starts, well beaten each time. |
| Woodstock City | Gained his first win on his sixth start over 2000m at Nancy but has been a beaten favourite in handicaps at Longchamp and Dieppe since. |
| Yes Zara | Her two wins – from six starts – have come over longer trips than this. Outsider of five starters when struggling in Listed company at Toulouse last time. |
