G3 – 2500m – Turf

Angel Guidance

Master French trainer Andre Fabre runs this twice-raced filly in search of a record-extending 11th win in the Prix Minerve. Unraced at two she debuted in June, building on that to win a Maiden at Vichy in similar going last month.

Crack Of Light

Third trip to France for this British raider in the past two months. Both of those visits over 2400m came at Longchamp where she won a Listed race followed by a respectable runner-up spot in the G2 Prix de Malleret.

Dschingis Star

One win from her four outings this term the home-trained grey raises her sights after finishing second at Chantilly in June, with the winner going on to validate the form.

Engaliwe

Two handicap wins on Chantilly’s all-weather track under her belt she followed up with a Listed win in heavy going at Longchamp and placed in a G3 at Chantilly on French Derby day.

Perama

A model of consistency, placing no lower than third in her seven starts. Narrowly beaten in a Listed race in Toulouse in June she is being stepped up in category here.

Scarlett O’Hara

This Frankel filly, representing respected Irish trainer Mrs John Harrington, ran an eye catching third at her first attempt at this level at Leopardstown, making much of the running over a longer trip.

Shamwari

Comfortably justified odds-on favouritism to win at the fourth attempt this Irish raider warrants respect from the stable of Aidan O’Brien’s son Joseph.

Tasmania

German-bred, she is on the hunt for G3 reward after a fine third from an unfavourable draw to one of the star acts of this classic generation – Blue Rose Cen – in the French Oaks.

Winning Side

One race her seasoned trainer has yet to win. She finished second on her debut in April, and has won two of her three starts subsequently, including last time out in a heavy ground Class 2 at Dieppe.
