A three-time winner over the distance who is well-rated enough to measure up. However, he is only a one-time winner from 33 local starts, which speaks for itself.

Has won two races in a row and is back in good form. This is a tougher assignment, however.

Handy five-year-old who can win on best form. Last seen closing off strongly late into third over the mile and has won up to 1800m in the past.

Rambo

Won impressively off more than one and a half years on the sidelines over 1400m in Class 4 last start. Rises to Class 3 for just his second try in the grade and does handle the 1800m.

728 days between wins but appreciates the 1800m and has placed twice in five starts for 2023. Genuine each-way chances.

Looks outclassed at Class 3 level but the small field does ensure most runners get their chance. Others are preferred, however.
