RACE 1 – BLISSFUL STAR

BLISSFUL STAR, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. BLISSFUL STAR was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer K H Ting this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, BLISSFUL STAR will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 8 – HELLS BELLS

HELLS BELLS, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse was found to be a “roarer”. HELLS BELLS was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D J Whyte this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right hind leg. Before being allowed to race again, HELLS BELLS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 9 – MIDORI BEAUTY

MIDORI BEAUTY, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. MIDORI BEAUTY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer W Y So this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, MIDORI BEAUTY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
