The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast for betting a total of nine races from the Victoria Mile Day and the Poule d’Essai des Poulians Day on Sunday, 14 May.

Victoria Mile Day from Tokyo Racecourse (first race 11.55am Hong Kong time)
Japan’s racing season steps up a gear with the running of the Victoria Mile (G1 1600m for 4yo+ fillies and mares) at the capital’s track. The race was introduced in 2006 to give leading older female horses an opportunity to compete at Group One level in early spring. In its relatively short history, the race has produced some high profile winners including the legendary VODKA, LONGINES Hong Kong Cup winner NORMCORE and the pure white wonder SODASHI.

Poule d’Essai des Poulains Day from ParisLongchamp Racecourse (first race 21.15pm Hong Kong time)
The Poule d’Essai des Poulains (reserved for colts) and the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches (restricted to fillies) bring together the best three-year-old milers of Europe. They are the equivalent of the French 2,000 and 1,000 Guineas, and the first leg of the respective Triple Crown titles for colts and fillies.

Final declarations with barriers for the Victoria Mile will be available on the afternoon of Friday 12 May while the final declarations with barrier draws for other races will be published on Saturday 13 May.
