The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government (HKSARG) will conduct a large-scale interdepartmental exercise based on the Daya Bay Contingency Plan on Thursday 12 January 2023, which may involve frequent helicopter activity over the Sha Tin Racecourse.  For the safety of track work operations, the Club will revise the track work hours on Thursday morning (12 January) as follows:

·         Riverside South gate opens at 3:00 am
·         Trotting Rings opens at 3:15 am
·         Olympics Equine Pool opens at 3:15 am till 6:45 am
·         Tracks open at 4:00 am till 6:45 am and harrowing break will NOT be applied at 6:15 am
·         1800m Jump outs and stall tests open at 5:45 am to 6:45 am  
·         Tracks and all other facilities open again at 9:05 am till 10:15 am
·         Olympics Equine Pool opens at 9:05 am till 10:15 am
