The Stewards have been advised that Matthew Chadwick, who was dislodged from PLENTIFUL at the barrier trials conducted at Sha Tin this morning, has sustained a fracture to his right ankle which required surgery.

As such, Jockey Chadwick, who is currently suspended from riding in races due to a careless riding charge, will not be fit to resume riding for some time.

A further release on Jockey Chadwick’s eligibility to resume riding will be issued at the appropriate time.
