The verti-drain was used at the Happy Valley turf track to alleviate surface compaction according to the following schedules:

11 – 30 November   –   A to C Course (Worked Back Position)

1– 2 December    –   C+3 Course (Worked Back Position) and the remaining areas

On completion of the works, the areas were lightly rolled as per previous practice.
