Vincent Ho, Silvestre de Sousa and Matthew Chadwick complete 2022 LONGINES IJC line-up

Vincent Ho, Silvestre de Sousa and Matthew Chadwick will join Zac Purton as Hong Kong’s four representatives in the 2022 LONGINES International Jockeys’ Championship on Wednesday, 7 December at Happy Valley.

Crowned 2021/22 Hong Kong Champion Jockey, Zac Purton has the first of four berths allocated to riders from Hong Kong’s talent pool, while the following three spots are filled by the leading homegrown jockey and the next two highest ranked riders on the local circuit (as of 23 November).

Vincent Ho will participate in the event as the leading homegrown jockey with 21 victories, while De Sousa and Chadwick fill the remaining positions allocated with 17 and 12 wins this season, respectively.

The list of this year’s invited jockeys for the LONGINES IJC was released on 16 November.
