Placed 6th on his return from a 13-month break in a Listed race (1600m) in March this season.  He won three races in a row when taking the G3 Sekiya Kinen (1600m) at Niigata in August.  Leads or sits handy.

Danon The Kid

The G1 Hopeful Stakes (2000m) winner in 2020 has not tasted any success since.  Ran 1L third in the G3 Sekiya Kinen (1600m) and 1.3L third in the G2 Mainichi Okan (1800m) last time.

Schnell Meister

The regular contender over this distance at the highest classes finished 2nd in this race last year.  The German-bred colt finished disappointing 8th in his first trip abroad to Dubai in March but well recovered to finish 2nd in the G1 Yasuda Kinen (1600m).  The 1200m of the Sprinters Stakes last time was not his trip.

The G1 Asahi Hai Futurity Stakes winner over this course and distance in 2019.  Ran good 3rd to Golden Sixty in the G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Mile last year.  Rallied well but weakened to finish third in the G1 Yasuda Kinen (1600m) in June before taking his first win in 2 years in the G2 Mainichi Okan (1800m) last time.

Sodashi

Registered her 3rd G1 victory in the Victoria Mile (1600m) in May, but the 2000m did not suit when 5th in the G2 Sapporo Kinen in August.  Ran good 2nd over 1800m in the G2 Fuchu Himba Stakes last month.

Justin Cafe

Failed to finish on board only once in 11 career starts. Showed a good turn of foot to finish 4th over the rain-affected track over 1800m at G3 in June and clocked the fastest time over the last 600m when a close 2nd in the G2 Mainichi Okan (1800m) last month.

Her best form was 2nd in the G1 Takamatsunomiya Kinen (1200m) in March.  3 wins from 6 starts over this course and distance.

Three straight wins over 1800m since debut.  Showed upward curve in the last two runs when 5th and 4th respectively.

The 3-year-old Daiwa Major sired colt finished in the money in all 7 runs.  Had a 4lb advantage over most rivals when he won the G2 Fuji Stakes (1600m) last time.  1st and 2nd in two starts over this course and distance.

Switched to a mile from early December last year and brilliantly gained  four wins in a row in a G2 in April when moved up to the graded level for the first time.  Ran a neck 2nd in the G2 Fuji Stakes (1600m) last time.

The G3 Arlington Cup winner last year over this course and distance.  Two-digit finishes in last 2 starts.

Three of six wins over this course and distance.  Finished 5th, 7th and 5th at G1 and G2 in last three starts.

The veteran 10-year-old son of Taiki Shuttle has not tasted any success for more than 2 years.  Ran 4th in the G2 Milers Cup over this course and distance in April but no match for the winners in last 2 starts.

The 3-year-old Lord Kanaloa sired colt claimed the G1 NHK Mile Cup (1600m) in May, taking his third win over this distance.  Ran 0.5L 3rd in the G2 Fuji Stakes (1600m) last time.
