HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast seven races of Melbourne Cup Day from Flemington Racecourse in Australia on Tuesday 1 November. Bets will be accepted* for these races.
For Melbourne Cup Day, two Double Trio pools will be offered and a jackpot of $297,295 is carried forward to the first Double Trio pool.
Race times and betting pools
The simulcast races of Melbourne Cup Day are scheduled as S2-1 to S2-7, and are due to start at 9:40 am on 1 November. Details of the post time and betting pools are:
Broadcast arrangements
Simulcast races will be broadcast on TV and radio. Customers can also review the overseas races at www.racing.hkjc.com one hour after each race has finished.
“S2” must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or through Digital Channels ** on overseas races should mark the “S2 box” and race number on the ticket or as required by the Digital Channels interface. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input “overseas race” and the race number, respectively.
If “S2” is not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.

The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available via Digital Channels, and through the Odds and Information Hotline 1835888.
Ticket sales arrangement for the overseas races
Ticket sales for Melbourne Cup Day will be available from 12:00 noon on Monday, 31 October. (Subject to further announcement by the Club)
