The Oriental Watch Gentlemen’s Bow Tie Raceday will take place on Sunday (16 October) at Sha Tin Racecourse. Customers with an advanced booking are invited to attend the races in attire adorned with bow ties or bow-related elements, to grace the event with elegance and glamour.
To complement this indulgent event, an exquisite Watch & Fashion Show will be held in the Winners’ Enclosure after Race 3. Celebrities Elaine Kong (photo 1), Jessica Jann, Bruce Tong and Chris Tong will take the lead in modelling trendy and prestigious timepieces.
Gentlemen’s Bow Tie Club (photo 2), a lifestyle-focused 3D photo backdrop in a chic black-and-white style, will be set up at 1/F Public Betting Hall, Grandstand II for racegoers to capture photos. Racegoers can also participate in the lucky draw* for a chance to win a SEIKO PROSPEX SPB257J1 watch valued at HK$9,980. Simply scan the designated QR code next to the Gentlemen’s Bow Tie Club and complete the online registration form before 4pm on the day.
The day’s highlight is the first Group 2 race of the season, the HK$5 million G2 Oriental Watch Sha Tin Trophy Handicap (1600m), scheduled to be run as Race 8. A 10-race programme has been scheduled on 16 October with the first race starting at 1pm. Gates at Sha Tin Racecourse will open at 11am.
