RACE 2 – SPARTAN MISSILE

SPARTAN MISSILE, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. SPARTAN MISSILE was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D J Hall this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left hind leg. Before being allowed to race again, SPARTAN MISSILE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 7 – LOYAL BABY

LOYAL BABY, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. LOYAL BABY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer F C Lor this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, LOYAL BABY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
