The Hong Kong Jockey Club bought one eye-catching colt at the recent BBAG Sale at Baden-Baden, Germany for €90,000 (approx. HK$709,000).

Sold as Lot 116, the bay youngster is by Soldier Hollow, multiple leading sire in Germany who collected four Group 1 wins through a glittering racing career. Among his progeny is an esteemed list including Ivanhowe, Pastorius, Virginia Joy, Weltstar and Bullish Smart – a six-time winner in Hong Kong for Tony Cruz.

The mare, Si Luna, was a Group 3 winner at Saint-Cloud in France. This is her third foal.
