Club CEO presents Prix Gontaut-Biron Hong Kong Jockey Club Trophy at Deauville Photo Release

Chief Executive Officer of the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges presented trophy to the winning connections of the G3 Prix Gontaut-Biron Hong Kong Jockey Club (2000m) held at Deauville Racecourse in France on Sunday, 14 August. The Jean-Claude Rouget-trained Wally won this event with jockey Cristian Demuro on board.


Horse racing has a long history in both France and Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Jockey Club supports the G3 Prix Gontaut-Biron Hong Kong Jockey Club and the Prix Hong Kong Jockey Club (to be held on Monday, 15 August) at Deauville in August. The events reflect the strong links between France Galop and The Hong Kong Jockey Club, both of which play an important role in promoting global horse racing development.
