RACE 5 – EMERGING

After the race, it was reported that EMERGING was displaying signs of heat stress. The Veterinary Surgeon reported that the horse was also lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing. As previously advised, EMERGING will be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
