Second start back into Class 4 and he had no luck last start when held up from the 250m until passing the 150m. He looks in with a big winning chance here.

Has not won for 1030 days now but is on a low enough rating to be competitive if to recapture form. Not out of it.

Vgor

Form is good and he won well over a smart one two starts ago but on the Polytrack. He has barrier trialled well leading into this race and looks in with a chance.

Eagle Eye

Old-timer who strung together two wins at the end of last season but has only managed one placing from three starts in 2022.

Boomba

Generally attracts market support, and is more than capable on his day, but he has not won for 350 days now. On a mark of 60, he can improve anytime.

Ricvelo

Jump and run type who posted two wins in succession recently but weakened badly in his most recent effort after casting a plate on a yielding track. He can improve.

Shang Chi

Consistent four-year-old who has done little wrong in three local starts but the rise to Class 4 is his biggest test.

Champagne Finale

Looks a knockout chance here back up to 1400m and after having some excuses late in running last start. Good each-way claims.

Zygarde

Led all the way to win easily in a 1200m Polytrack race last start, but that was in Class 5 and now back up into Class 4 looks tough.

The Shadow

Generally struggles in Class 4, with just one placing from six attempts, but he did catch the eye running home well last start and he might inject some value into exotic bets.

Rocket Ryane

Another how usually performs better in Class 5 and the track and distance looks tough. Others are preferred.
