The Stewards have been provided with written advice from Racing Queensland that FLYING TURBO, which raced as Bucharest prior to being imported into Hong Kong, wore blinkers in a number of races conducted in Australia.

Mr D J Whyte, trainer of FLYING TURBO, has requested he be permitted to race the horse in blinkers without it being subjected to a blinkers test. Mr Whyte’s request has been approved.
