Further to the press release which was issued on 15 November 2021, the Stewards have received confirmation from the Laboratoire des Courses Hippiques that the referee portion of the urine sample taken from JADE THEATRE after that horse finished second in the Tin Ha Shan Handicap run at Sha Tin Racecourse on Wednesday, 27 October 2021 has been confirmed to contain omeprazole.

Mr P F Yiu, trainer of JADE THEATRE, has been notified of the independent laboratory’s findings.

The inquiry into this matter remains adjourned to a date to be fixed whilst further investigations into the findings continue.
