Raced primarily over 9 furlongs with poor results in last 7 starts at this level. Has raced from far off pace in recent starts, but can run on pace. Being given first sprint. One gear. First time at Hanshin. Work sufficient. Could surprise.

Coca Bomb Queen

Needed 9 starts before winning at class below and now has 7-13 from 2 open-class runs. Tends to race from rear and lacks late kick. Likely not suited to Hanshin 1200m.

Coofa Peekaboo

Mare raced in 1000-1400 metre range rose through ranks with consistency, but since reaching open class in August has recorded 13-2-15, all over 6 furlongs. Weight was high last out on 23 Oct. Has good early speed and should be sharper, leaner this time out.

Copano Mercury

Versatile colt is taking on first open-class race after winning over Tokyo 1300m on 31 Oct. Has had three starts since mid Sept. but bar may be too high with tough schedule. Good speed.

Curren Lomachenko

Colt given first start over dirt 1200m last out end Sept. and finished 12th at this level after difficult trip. Was returning from 3 months off. Getting ample work. Good speed and improvement expected. Is capable of better results than last two starts indicate.

Cyclotron

Lord Kanaloa colt with early speed is a sprint specialist but has done poorly in JRA races since moving to open class. Work looks good. Return to Hanshin 1200m may be plus, however, as all four career wins have been over same.

Dualist

Frontrunner has not raced since August when did poorly in Niigata 1200m but had difficult trip. Won debut over Hanshin 1200m. Trackwork seems lacking.

Genetics

Colt raced solely in sprints returned after nearly 5 months off for third start in open class. Interference cost him race but finish closer than 7th place indicates, only 1.3L off winner. Was 1-3 in previous two starts, both over Hanshin 1200m. Races handily. Promising.

Immortal Smoke

Has at best a sixth since moving to this level 5 starts ago. Returned after 4 months for 6th in Hanshin 1400m. Has won over Hanshin 1200m at class below. Improvement likely. Could surprise with right trip.

Medicus

Chronically late at break, but has potential if break is good. Finished fourth over Nakayama 1200m at this class in Sept. followed by Hanshin 1200m next out, encountered traffic problems. Decent speed. Could surprise with right trip.

Meisho Tensui

Colt raced primarily over 7 furlongs with best in last 8 starts two fifth-place finishes, both at Hanshin. Races handily. Furlong less a plus. One gear but Hanshin 1200m could suit.

Pertinacity

Came up empty last out in first start at this level. Speed lacking. Likely outclassed.

Snark Raiden

Has best a fourth in 10 starts since moving to this class, all sprints. Has 4th and 5th in Hanshin 1200m and 1400m but lackluster in trackwork. Not promising.

Snark Star

Finished off the board in all 4 starts since moving to this class. Looking poor in work. Likely not a contender.

Ultramarine

Filly has raced primarily in open class or above since breaking maiden. Remains consistent, has 3 finishes in the money from 7 starts this year and just won open-class race over Hanshin 1200m on 23 Oct. Could be on a roll.
