Just graduated the lesser class when won over 2200m at Niigata last month.  First appearance at the class.  No ground worries.

Ekaterinburg

Winner over 2000m at Hanshin in February but less good since.  4th place in the latest steeple-chase race over 2850m at Niigata last month.

Gentiana

Has struggled to finish inside top three in 6 starts this term.  Likely a tough task.

Honneur

Winner over 1800m in March before 2 runs at G2 when 8th and 6th respectively.  Good record over 2200m at Hanshin when 2nd last month.  Chance to finish inside top three.

Juana

Has shown her ability in a solid 3rd at G2 last term.  Not raced since unplaced 11th in the G2 Rose Stakes last September.  Can be placed at value. 

Levezza

Never missed on board in 7 runs.  Finished inside top three in 3 starts since stretched out to 2200m.  Brave 5th to the Japanese Derby winner Shahryar at G3 last term. A good chance.

Pinochle

Raced consistently in recent 2 starts at the class since his long waited second win in July.  No ground worries. First run over 2200m.

Silver Ace

Unplaced in his first appearance at the class last month.  Requires more to improve.
