HKJC Horse Race Betting Limited will simulcast the Everest and Caulfield Cup from Randwick Racecourse and Caulfield Racecourse in Australia on Saturday 16 October respectively. It will also simulcast six races of British Champions Day from Ascot Racecourse in Great Britain on the same evening. Bets will be accepted* for these overseas races.
For British Champions Day, two Double Trio pools will be offered, a jackpot of $271,144 is carried forward to the first Double Trio pool and a jackpot of $227,402 is carried forward to the second Double Trio pool. World Pool will be also offered (Win, Place, Quinella, Quinella Place and Tierce) to ensure a maximum liquidity for racegoers. Besides, the Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool of Race 6 on British Champions Day (S2-6) will be topped up with a $800,000 jackpot.
Race times and betting pools
The simulcast of the Everest and Caulfield Cup are scheduled as S1-1 and S1-2, and the races are due to start at 1:15 pm and 2:15 pm on 16 October respectively. British Champions Day is scheduled as S2-1 to S2-6, and is due to start at 8:25 pm on 16 October. Details of the post time and betting pools are:

‘S1’ or ‘S2’ must be indicated for overseas race bets
Customers betting with cash or Interactive Services** on overseas races should mark the ‘S1 box’ or ‘S2 box’ and race number of the overseas race on the ticket or as required by the Interactive Services interfaces. Those placing bets via Telebet should clearly indicate the overseas race and race number to the operators. Those using the 1886 Telebet Automated Services should input ‘overseas race’ and the race number respectively.
If ‘S1’, ‘S2’ or ‘Overseas race’ are not indicated as required, any bets placed will be accepted as bets for the corresponding local race.
Odds and starter information for overseas races
The odds and starter information for overseas races will be available at all OCBBs, via Interactive Services, and on the Odds and Information Hotline 1835888.
Ticket sales arrangement for the overseas races
The ticket sales for the Everest and Caulfield Cup are available from 6:00 am on Saturday, 16 October. The ticket sales for S2-1 to S2-5, first Double Trio and second Double Trio on British Champions Day are available from noon on Friday, 15 October and S2-6 and Treble are available from 9:00 pm on the same evening.
