The Hong Kong Jockey Club, having considered the hoisting of Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal Number 8 and adverse weather conditions, under which there would be difficulties for horse movement and transportation of 8000 employees required to report duty at the race meeting, decides to cancel tonight’s race meeting (13 October) at the Happy Valley Racecourse.

We plan to seek approval by the Hong Kong SAR Government in accordance with established procedures to hold a race meeting on 29 December, 2021.

Refund arrangements

Cash betting
All cash bets will be refunded on presentation of tickets at any Off-course Betting Branch (OCBB) or at the racecourses during opening hours. Betting tickets for tonight’s race meeting are valid within 60 days from 13 October, 2021.

Betting via Telebet and Interactive Services
All bets placed through Telebet and Interactive Services will be refunded directly to the respective betting accounts.

On-course facilities
Patrons who have booked the facilities with credit cards will have the payment refunded to their credit card accounts. Those who purchased tickets with cash can obtain their refunds by presenting the receipts or admission tickets at the racecourses or any OCBBs within 14 days from today during opening hours.
