The Stewards have been provided with written advice from the National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa that GREEN LASER (E409), which raced under the same name prior to being imported into Hong Kong, wore blinkers when it raced in that jurisdiction.

Mr D E Ferraris, trainer of GREEN LASER, has requested he be permitted to race the horse in blinkers without it being subjected to a blinkers test.  Mr Ferraris’ request has been approved.
