RACE 5 – BIG BROOK
BIG BROOK, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. BIG BROOK was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C Fownes this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left hind leg. Before being allowed to race again, BIG BROOK will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
RACE 6 – SO WE JOY
SO WE JOY, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. SO WE JOY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D A Hayes this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right hind leg. Before being allowed to race again, SO WE JOY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during yesterday’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
