G2 – 1200m – Turf
| Twice The Trip | Very strong contender. Has come on in leaps and bounds since maiden win. The only filly to contest the Golden Horseshoe on July Day, she was beaten just 2.1 lengths. |
| Aunty Lizzy | Produced a very gutsy run to win on debut, but against a weak field. Rested since and changed trainer. Unlikely winner. |
| Lucky Miss | Her inexperience showed on debut. She did, however, produce a tremendous turn of foot making up more than 5.5 lengths over the last 400m. |
| Civil Rights | Not much in her current form to suggest she’ll be contesting the finish. Comprehensively beaten in the Grade 2 Golden Slipper last time out, she might benefit from the drop in trip. |
| Paityns Pride | Made racing look easy on debut with a 2.75 length victory over the very tough Turffontein Inside course. Serious contender. |
| Remember When | Her fighting spirit was evident when winning on debut despite a slow start. Will contest the finish. |
| Look Yourself | Ran half a length behind Rain In Holland second time out, the latter going on to win three more times. Will be a big surprise if she does not make the top four. |
| Danse Milord | Disappointing last two runs. Current form suggests she is in need of a rest after 8 outings as a juvenile. |
| Maryah | Disappointed in the Golden Slipper after a win on debut. Not expected to make the frame. |
| Crimson Causeway | Frontrunner with G1 experience. Draw is a concern. The dark horse capable of an upset. |
| Cocoa Hill | Not considered a threat in this race. Maiden win was in a very weak field. |
| Sashay Away | Overcame widest draw last time out when beating elders to shed maiden tag. Based on that run, this Var filly should be a contender. |
