| 1 | Chimichuri Run | Top-class sprinter who is coming back to form after a disappointing run. Well weighted, well drawn, top jockey and trainer. Should contest the finish. |
| 2 | MK’s Pride | Up-and-coming young sprinter who is improving with every run. Shifted out last time over track and trip in his first run with blinkers but is a massive runner here. |
| 3 | Rio Querari | Best handicapped horse, top performer who already has a Grade 1 win under his belt. Has not competed since winning that race in May but is unquestionably the horse to beat. |
| 4 | Battle Force | Won the G1 Golden Horse Sprint over 1200m at Scottsville last month off a light weight. Not well weighted and against stronger opposition would do well to place. |
| 5 | Ultra Magnus | Decent sprinter in lower graded races but has not been in the best of form and looks out of his depth in this company. |
| 6 | Gallic Princess | Consistent filly who has performed well against her own sex in lesser company but there is little in her form to recommend her in this field. Looks outclassed. |
| 7 | Bohica | Has run consistently well in strong field and includes a second place behind Rio Querari in the G1 Computaform Sprint. Well weighted and has place prospects. |
| 8 | Chantyman | Finished a great second in the G2 Post Merchants over the course and distance last time and is another who could run into the places. |
| 9 | Pearl Of Asia | Badly out at the weights and looks well held by the likes of Kasimir and Chantyman. Very much an optimistic entry. |
| 10 | Cartel Captain | Ran a decent race in the G2 Post Merchants when fourth behind Kasimir. Not well handicapped this time and looks out of his depth in this line-up. |
| 11 | Kasimir | Brilliant sprinter who won this race in 2019. Struggled to regain his form this year but bounced back with victory in the G2 Post Merchants. Big runner if can overcome wide draw. |
| 12 | Al Sakeet | Hugely talented three-year-old who has won four of his five starts. All wins have been over 1000m so uncertain over the extra 200m, especially from a wide draw. Not out of it. |
| 13 | Singforafa | Has a G1 win against her own sex this year but off a wide draw and against the colts is facing a titanic battle to feature in this event. |
| 14 | True To Life | Useful filly who will struggle in this class. Held by Singforara in their G1 run at Scottsville and Bohica in Pinnacle Stakes at Turffontein. |
