Has not so far contributed to the stable’s very good 2021 but his sixth under top weight at Ascot last time was better, and he’s now 2lb easier in the handicap.

An ambitious bid for a G2 in Italy failed to pay off but then only beaten by a fast -improving rival at Ascot. Up in trip for this two-time winner.

Pleasant Man

Improved after gelding, closing strongly to win a handicap at Salisbury in June then finishing fast after a difficult trip at Ascot. Stable in form.

Kings Prince

Won his first two starts like a potentially smart stayer. But up to Listed class he failed to quicken when fourth at Hamilton. The stable often do very well at this meeting.

Has won two of his four starts and though only sixth last time that was in a Royal Ascot handicap and a career-best effort especially as he met significant trouble in running.

Irish Legend

Three wins from six starts and certainly not disgraced in defeat in Ascot handicaps on his last two starts, finishing fast first time, and then unlucky in running.

Disappointing on first three starts of 2021 but more signs of life when trying to win a Newmarket handicap from the front, not beaten far in third.

Kolisi

The further he went the better he got when winning a slow ground Salisbury maiden. Now in a handicap, but sure of supporters from this continuously hot stable.

Glen Again

With a very consistent profile, continuing to run well in handicaps at around this distance – leading most of the way when a close third at Ascot last time.

General Lee

Earlier in July he gained his first career win, landing a maiden under a positive ride at Windsor. This is tougher and he’ll need to benefit from the rise in distance.

Annandale

Stable have won this four times in the last ten years. Plenty of good efforts lately over different distances and ground conditions. Goodwood debut.

The winner of three consecutive all-weather handicaps over shorter trips this year. However he ran a dismal race when trying turf, at Newbury.

The figures suggest gradual improvement but a bit more needed now. The first-time cheekpieces may help. Stable with a good record in this.
