G1 – 3210m – Turf
1 |
    Amhran Na Bhfiann |
1.3 million guineas yearling. Lightly raced 4-y-o. Won well at lesser level over 2800m last month. Only an outside chance. |

2 |
    Away He Goes |
Fair form in Dubai in the Spring. Needs to improve on effort in G3 at York this month. |

3 |
    Emperor Of The Sun |
Some fair efforts but well beaten in G1 Ascot Gold Cup and an unlikely winner. |

4 |
    Mekong |
Well beaten in all outings this year and victory would be a big surprise. |

5 |
    Nayef Road |
Creditable runner-up to Stradivarius in this race last year but disappointing recently and well beaten in Ascot Gold Cup. Needs to return to his best. |

6 |
    Santiago |
Won last year’s Irish Derby then creditable third in this race. Well beaten in last month’s Ascot Gold Cup. Shorter trip should help. |

7 |
    Serpentine |
Easy, surprise winner of last year’s Epsom Derby. Less good since. 4000m was too far when well beaten in Ascot Gold Cup and not certain to stay 3210m. |

    Sir Ron Priestley |
Missed whole of 2020 but returned better than ever. A good battler and now high class over 2400m and 2800m. Suited by fast ground. |

9 |
    Spanish Mission |
Smart performer who stays this trip and was a good third to Subjectivist in the Ascot Gold Cup. A live challenger. Best on a sound surface. |

10 |
    Stradivarius |
Going for fifth successive win in this race. Beaten when odds-on in Ascot Gold Cup after being hampered. Now a 7-y-o but will be hard to beat. Has a good turn of foot. |

    Trueshan |
Has developed into a high class stayer but needs soft ground to be at his best. A live contender if he gets it. |
