RACE 5 – FORTUNE HERO
       
FORTUNE HERO, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. FORTUNE HERO was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer R Gibson this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. As previously advised, FORTUNE HERO will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

RACE 7 – PING HAI GALAXY
       
PING HAI GALAXY, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. PING HAI GALAXY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer J Size this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, PING HAI GALAXY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
